May 31, 2024

The Ida B. Wells Society is hosting another round of virtual workshops. This series is focusing on election coverage in light of Election Day being less than six months away, as voters, candidates and supporters count down to cast their ballot.

Within the three-part series, panelists will discuss three topics:

  • June 5: Polling: Pros, Cons, Appropriate usages and interpretations.
  • June 12: Gerrymandering: Assessing the state of the issue and its impact on upcoming elections.
  • June 26: Misinformation: Understanding what it is and its causes. Exploring how news organizations can reclaim the center in an age of growing disinformation.

Registration is free but required to attend each workshop hosted on Zoom. Click the above bullets to register for each panel.
