2021 IRE Conference Scholarship Application

The Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting is pleased to offer a select number of member scholarships for the 2021 IRE Conference. This year’s conference will again be a virtual event, bringing together members for five days of training, conversations and networking online June 14-18.

Most sessions will take place from noon to 4 p.m. eastern time, to allow for participation across the United States and around the world. Training sessions will be recorded and available for attendees on demand for up to one year on the conference platform.

The scholarship will be awarded in the form of a reimbursement for conference-related expenses (i.e. the cost of registration and additional workshop costs). All selected recipients are encouraged to complete the IRE conference registration by the early bird deadline.

To apply for a scholarship, please answer and submit the questions below by 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, May 19.
